For those of us on the spiritual path, we connect because the world we are becoming ever increasingly a part of, differs from the world we see with our eyes. As we delve deeper into our being a new logic rises to our consciousness.  A logic of forgiveness towards those who are intentionally spiteful enters into our reasoning; a logic of compassion towards those who have harmed others beckons our attention.  If we reach out to the common man and ask what to do with this new logic, he tells us to discard it.  If we reach out to the common man and ask why we are being called to consider such things, he will not know and most likely, not even care.

We connect with other kindred souls because the ideas of spirit are not reckoned easily with the world of matter.  The spiritual journeyer who travels this road alone struggles with the new mind that her spirit is giving birth to.  Can the loner give birth without assistance?  Yes, she can.  Must she give birth alone?  Espirits hopes this is not the case.  And so we hope to start a community of like minded souls.  We realize we are all different even though we may all be on this path.  We hope, however, to urge nonjudgmental thoughts and ideas when responding to each other. Instead of saying this is not so, say instead; I have found my path unique to yours.  Instead of saying that another is wrong, offer instead an additional choice for your comrade.

Just as every culture has its own way of saying hello, and none can say the other is wrong, so are we our own culture.  There are times when someone gets it wrong, this is true, but everyone has the right to be where they are on the path.  We ask that we all honor this when we make our heart connections towards each other.
