What is life about? This is an age old question but it's still being asked every day. You can know what life is about by looking at nature and noticing that everything seeks to survive, everything seeks to grow and in nature, nothing takes from Life what is not needed to exist.

How do we survive, how do we grow and how do we treat life with reverence and not with a greedy expectation to demand more than what we need? We evolve. This is the short answer. We seek to grow by evolving spiritually. We grow spiritually by facing life and asking how can "this challenge" make me stronger and more resilient. How can this situation make me grow deeper in love and in peace? When we run from our lives, from our emotions and from one another, we feed the fear that consumes the seeds of evolution and our de-evolution becomes like mud. And this mud then solidifies into concrete that weighs us down with joylessness and depression.

When we face life, we are like Jesus as we allow the lesser self to die so that we are born anew. When we face life we are like Buddha as we transcend the trickery of illusions and see the truth. When we face life we are like Mohammad and we begin our lives as humble and unknowing and become so majestic the heavens reveal a higher destiny.

We face life by viewing our consciousness. We notice our thoughts and realize that our mind is the soil, our thoughts are the seeds. And we are the farmers that toil the land, or decide not to toil the land and from our thoughts tended or not, grows a life of beauty, or not...

We are not required to create, all is already created.  As we are in fact, instruments we are only required to express creativity. The ability to believe that reality is the unseen, and the seen is the offspring of the invisible requires the rebirthing of consciousness and the rebirthing of our concept of being, into that of an instrument of Being.

This is our mystical assignment: To change the mind of flesh into the mind of spirit, where the miraculous is commonplace, yet by no means common nor lacking in awe.

The definition of real magic: Is the ability to flesh out/manifest the world of thought into the world of matter. For magic is the spontaneous manifestation of truth- of what already exists.

Magic is neither dependent on linear reality nor the foundations of reasoning or logic.  Even more, reason and logic are the enemies of magic.  Neither is magic dependent on the past, present or future, for all are irrelevant to that which fashions galaxies.  Magic is absolute and needs nothing to exist.  Magic is the mathematical equations, the art, the Law and Principles of the Universe/Creator.

To those who inflicted pain that I turned into resilience, betrayals that became the path to detachment, abuse that was transformed into the victory of surviving and meanness that was converted to acceptance... I thank you. I know that your Higher self and my higher self arranged these lessons and that you were the villain this time. Yet I know for others, they are thanking me for these same lessons because I too, in my imperfection can be the villain as well... May we all one day realize that life is a stage and stop taking it so seriously by just getting on with evolving

Plant thoughts that are beautiful, tend to your thoughts every day, remove the weeds that would stunt their growth, expect with great anticipation the blooms that your thoughts will manifest, thank the Universe for the beauty you have been allowed to create.... For when you pursue your Self, you fall in love with the essence of your spirit and your heart will swell with joy.  Find you and you'll find the Universe... The Sacred Breath

Breathing- most of don't even think about it and if we do, we think of it as something only important because it's what sustains life. But one day we will have a new culture. It will be a culture that understands breath to be far more than the airy substance that we breathe.

What is breath and what is so special about it, you may ask? I would first answer it by saying that breath is not just special- it is sacred. In the Aramaic language breath and spirit are one and the same. Think on that a moment. Imagine fully accepting that breath and spirit are one. If we allowed this concept to become part of our daily lives, we would constantly realize that we were merging with God through our respiration, consuming God, bringing God into our very experience both physically, mentally and of course spiritually. Just that realization alone could revolutionize our society, the culture we live in and how we view life and each other. We would look around and see God everywhere. We would no longer believe that churches, synagogues and temples held God; instead we would see it the other way around. God being the very air permeates every stone in those buildings and so God holds them in place. More importantly, there would be no need to feel walking into a building is what made those services sacred. In fact, since God is the breath that makes every Imam, every Rabbi and Minister's words possible, it wouldn't even be their words that were sacred but instead the breath that gave them life. Every breeze would be ecstatic, there would be meaning in the wind, as though God were embracing us, every tree that swayed and every leaf that trembled in its wake would to us look like the shivering of joy, and perhaps we might smile and for a moment be at one with nature.

Accepting that breathing and spirit were the same we would come to understand why deep breathing relaxes us, and why breathing slowly changes our brains waves, causing that organ to operate on deeper and healthier levels. It would make sense to us why it is that when we take a deep breath the anger goes away, but conversely, why that same deep breath during sex causes our joy to explode into ecstasy. Accepting this concept of spirit and breath we would finally understand how breathing slowly through meditation reverses the effects of stress on our bodies and minds, how it releases just the hormones and chemicals that support our immune system and how it also has the potential to alleviate or lessen high blood pressure, anxiety, asthma, diabetes, aging, depression... the list could go on for quite a while. We would, however, come to understand why the breath heals for we would understand that it is after all, God.

The Mystical Life...

There is no resistance in this world. There is nothing holding you back, nothing to stop your dreams and goals from coming to fruition. Many who are reading this will be thinking of numerous oppositions and wondering how this assertion could be so. I will tell you how this is so, and why it is so. There is God and there can be nothing but God, nothing but God energy, God's creations and God's will. If there is anything that could resist you, it would have to be God, for there can not be God and some other force, for if there is some other force, then who created it? If there is good and evil, do you believe that God created evil? Hopefully you know enough to realize this can not be. God can not be love, and promise us the Kingdom, and then have a side to Her that opposing Her own creed.

If there is evil, then it would simply be the absence of light. If there is evil, then it would simply be the absence of knowledge, and this absence of God/light/wisdom is what is creating havoc in this world and in our lives. There is no resistance in this world, there is only a lack of belief, an absence of faith, and these things that are self created are what resists our health, our attracting abundance, creates our failing relationships and stops our goals and dreams from coming alive.

You are the Divine

Your lives are sacred scripts, though written in the ethers their words are as powerful as the first Word that created all of life. Though the words are unseen they were meant to reign with dominion over all things in this realm. Though the words many times go unexpressed as lives are lived in ignorance of the greatness that was meant to be, it is only your free will that can silence that which was given to you from the mightiest of all realms. Realize that if life can exist, then all things must be as possible, as miraculous, and as mystifying as the first riddle to our existence- that there is a Creator, and that She lives now!

In this world, there is nothing that can challenge the Divine. Nothing can encompass its infinite scope and nothing has the strength to overcome that which creates galaxies with more stars than sand on all its beaches and deserts combined. What arms would this earthly power use to fight that which eyes can not behold? What earthly words could be used to dismantle the laws created by that which created the words themselves? And what earthly mind could display the ingenuity that could outwit the infinite genius whose very matrix created the reality of intelligence itself? In other words, if there is a power that is greater than God/Universe, in what manner does it express itself and what tools does it use to neutralize the Creator/God of all that is? For whatever manner it would use, and whatever tools it had, its arsenal was created by that which it intends to defeat. Before you read on, you must answer this question. What can defeat the Creator of life?

The reasoning that another power exists is as valid as when man thought that the world was flat, or that the sun orbited the earth. Simply because many believe something to be true only means that many are mistaken, for practically the entire continent of Europe thought the vessels sailing to the new world would fall off its edge. Therefore, no logic correlating that the number of believers of something makes that something so. "Thou couldest have no power against me, unless it was given thee from above." John 19:11 was Jesus' way of testifying that power comes only from one Source. Though the world believes in a power that can neutralize the laws or Word of the Creator/Universe, this can not be. Unless you understand yourself to be this power, there is no other power than your own free will. For only free will can alter your Divine plan.

Giving Birth to Our Higher Selves

We are the Higher Self exploring consciousness through this magnificent body. When we remind ourselves of this- soon we realize that we must be connected to a greater wisdom, greater healing abilities, endless love and forgiveness and the potential to attract and live a vastly contented life... You are the Higher Self, we are all our Higher Selves we only need to align ourselves with this truth until we feel its vibrancy filling us up with a knowing that is beyond doubt. We may have to think it 10 times, or 1000 times, but every thought becomes real if we are tenacious enough to think it into being~

Breaking Free...

The bigger the ego, the more conflict one finds in life because the ego is what separates you. It separates you from each other, from your True Self, from love, harmony and from working together. It is the purpose of the ego to stand apart from all things, for any merging threatens its survival. It is the soul that loves to merge and share...

That person that intimidates you more than likely has doubts- as we all do. Only those who have worked on themselves find security and they would take no pleasure in your uneasiness. Those who take pleasure in your discomfort probably stare into their mirrors each night wondering about their own lack of self worth, and how long they can keep up the grand pretense.

Secure people don't want your worship or your power. They want you to find the joy inside of you.

You are here to celebrate your imperfections as you learn about love, joy and divine creativity! When you find the path of Freedom the world becomes your playground.

Life, not what is appears on the surface..

For many, it will be a long process, if not a life long process of reinterpreting the world. Things aren't what they appear to be often even at the most mundane level. Standing on the platform of the railroad station and peering outward to look for the train, you notice how the tracks furthest away appear to merge. When you see this, you automatically reinterpret the mirage because you know the tracks are separate- always. As you gaze up at the summit of a mighty mountain the sky rests pleasantly upon its steeping boulders. When you see this, you automatically reinterpret the mirage because you know the sky is far beyond even our tallest mountains. There are many false images that we adjust with our senses. These are examples of nature whispering truth to help awaken our inner faculties.

If nature could use words, it would whisper not to take offense, for the offender is the one who is misaligned. Become offended, and now so are you. Take no offense at the mean spirited for they are the one who is misaligned, neither take offense at the actions of the self centered nor even the bigot. Reinterpret, it whispers to us. Take a deep breath and reinterpret the experience for the misalignment of another does not have to be yours. Oh yes, nature knows about that easily wounded you, the one who would give to the world if only the world would stop kicking it long enough to do so. It knows too about that loving self that so freely gives to everyone only to reach out for a helping hand and find others too busy to take notice. It knows about the self that is long suffering, the self that gives its last dime only to require a penny in need and not receive it. There is no doubt; nature says that you have these tender pure angels living within. But keeping them as they are- so easily angered or wounded costs so much. It costs so much, you have to pawn your Peace to maintain them. But there comes a day, it warns, when you must release these tender beings like the youthful that have outgrown their infant bodies.

How odd that we not only want to share our greatest gifts with one another, but even the least of our endowments. When others give us their most trivial ill fashioned talents they present them on silver platters as though they are gifts that we should acknowledge. Misery loves company; is one way to interpret this oddity. Or perhaps we are vibrations that resonate with one another and the object of life is to learn how to reinterpret any frequency so that you might stay in key with the song of Peace.

Impersonalizing Negativity as a Path to Love...

The path to spirituality is about finding higher and higher ways to understand the path we are on and how to successfully get from one experience to another experience of a higher vibration... The lowest level of seeing life is to see everyone as the cause of your problems. There is no power at this level because others have to change in order for you to be happy and if they don't change, you remain a victim of your own making. The next level is to understand that you play a part in the issue that challenges you. You have more power at this level, because when you change how you think or act, your personal world changes as well and you are now a creator... The next level is to understand that your issue is not about the other person or even you. It is about how you and your soul is processing the energy that has become part of your experience. When you get to this level there is no condemnation of the other, there is only a relationship between you and the energy- the energy that is challenging you. When you focus only on the energy you become a source of love as the other person becomes irrelevant in a uplifting, detached way because your mind is concentrated on how to make peace with or release this incongruent energy. You remain peaceful towards this person or the situation, and as you master this, you become an example of how to rise above chaos and disruptive energy~

A World of Thoughts...

We live in a universe of thought-forms; in a world where the only battle that exists is to promote one's thoughts over another. Every war that was ever waged was done to conquer land or people so that the Victor's thoughts would be populated. Every divorce was because someone didn't agree with some thought the other held or acted out. Every argument is an attempt to get one to think like the other. Every murder is because someone thought that extinguishing the others existence would give them some kind of satisfaction that some thought led them to believe was essential. Every political campaign is about a point of view regarding thoughts... Every religion attempts to promote its thoughts as superior to the thought of other religions. Every business attempts to persuade society to flock to a thought, whether that thought is about a hamburger or a pill. Everything you see, every car, ever chair, every spoon, was once a thought before it was ever made into a form. Since thoughts are so important the question that begs an answer is... what are you thinking and do those thoughts create a beautiful life for you and everyone else?

Finding the God Within You

An artist studies art to embody those skills that bring out the artist's talents and personal self expression. We go to the gym to help create a body that we already possess, just the best or better version of it. Why is it then that we go the Church, the Temple or the Synagogue to follow a creed and dogma and not discover and express our individual expression of God? If someone reading this says that this is purpose of these religious institutions, they will have to explain why it is that every religious institution has splintered. There is the Baptist Christian church, the Lutheran and Pentecostal, there is Judaism and Orthodox Judaism, and there is the Shi'ite and the Sunni facet of Islam and so on. Even Buddhism has more than one facet. The reasoning for these different branches is exactly because someone thought a tad differently than everyone else, or someone expressed a truth in a manner that was uniquely suited to their own soulful make-up, but because of this, they had to leave the institution to do so. The sad part is, once they left, they required the same strict adherence to their expression of spiritual laws that caused them to break away in the first place.

I believe that God created the individual to see Herself expressed in an infinitely glorious rainbow where there exists a million shades of compassion, a billion hues of love, support in every way and form possible and an endlessly awesome field of creativity. I believe also however, that mankind fears looking within to find its own expression and formed religion primarily as a manner of feeling safe by joining in communion with others, but secondarily as a way to control others by keeping them as fearful of looking within as they are. Some are called blasphemous, others are excommunicated, and in some cases, even today, many are killed for finding the voice of God within and then daring to express it.

Things are changing with the typical individual these days. We are braver, freer and even eager to find that inner flame. Once we find it, it may have the same foundation of love, empathy and peace that is found in many others, but it will be uniquely ours, and when we express it, will understand that this was our purpose all along.

Your life is yours to claim

Your desire to forgive, is your forgiveness, your desire to love more, is your loving more... You don't need to wait for your emotions to catch up with what you claim as reality. Your reality belongs to you.  Just as truth belongs to you.... Truth is like love, it is infinite, and infinitely unique to the individual. No one and nothing can define it for you, it must be experienced.  Live a life that you can say truly belongs to you by trusting yourself.

When something miraculous happens in your life, take a moment and sense that place within the miracle where the Divine touched the material world. That place of contact is the door to transcendence. When you keep that in your mind and heart and meditate on it daily, your life becomes the river that has joined with the ocean.

The miraculous occurs not for its own sake, not to boast to a world lower than itself about its' grand power, but as a reminder, a communication of its presence in your life. Its’ presence is always with you so you must ask yourself if you find that your life is not miraculous, where are you in terms of this presence?  Do you walk with It as It walks with you? 

The truth of the matter is this, the Divine has not abandoned you, but many have abandoned It.  Many have abandoned the Presence for a world that glitters like gold and that whispers promises that it is not capable of fulfilling but that many are eager to believe it will.
