Life Was Meant To Be Scary

Blog 6/1/15

Life was meant to be really scary, and so we have been taught to run from fear.  Yes, we, who have dominion over this world were taught to be cowards by fleeing that which expands us!  Yet fear expands us.  Fear expands us when we look it in the eye and courageously breathe it in until it submits to our innate greatness.  Dreaming big is scary, loving deep is scary, being different is scary.  And if we are to be honest from our core, believing there is some Deity out there, that we can’t see or touch, but are told we should submit to is scary.  And to add to that, then believing there is a Deity that can handle our lives better than us- that we are drawn to believe is not only all powerful but that can create ANYTHING from total nothingness AND that loves us- little ole imperfect us- is the scariest of all!  Yes, life was meant to be scary, but only because scary is actually exhilarating to those who come to know they are born equipped to transform the scary into the devastatingly beautiful.

We Really Need to Play More

Blog 5/24/15

We really need to play more.  We need to look at our mind as simply a CD that contains not truth, but simply recordings of past experiences, experiences that have nothing to do with today!  We really need to play more. We could explore being unencumbered, unbridled, exuberantly and blatantly free!  We really need to play more, in other words. We should discard age and resonate, not with a number, but with the flow of being alive. Do you know how incredibly blissful it is not live inside time, but outside it?! We are alive, not a number and how dare we limit our expression in that way? We really, really need to play more! We need to look at our body and really love it, or look at that laughing line and declare its curve, absolutely, absolutely gorgeous.  How dare we so meekly climb into that box! We need to look at something society calls an imperfection and spin it on its head! Yes, we were given dominion over this world, and we can do that.  We can take any symbol, ANY SYMBOL and define it just to our liking!  We could change past abuse and declare ourselves warriors.  And the perpetrator- declare him/her as a victim of stupidity. Take that!  We can say.  We need to do something that is positively shocking.  And I do mean something shocking that is positive, not something that harms you or another.  I mean something that is absolutely and exquisitely uplifting but really, really scary!  Every now and then, we need to do something like this, because, well, we really need to play more.  Dream big, find a way to challenge every limiting belief, find some method of changing every thought that holds you back into a thought that makes you the winner.  There is a way, life is truly a stage, science is discovering more and more how the world and the Universe is simply a plethora of thoughts.  Everything we see, is really energy, a thought form.  We can find a way to change everything around us, we just really, really, really need to stop taking everything as so real, and just play more and more... and more...

The Plague of Mindlessness

Blog 5/12/15

Many of us are in crisis and haven’t a clue because so many no longer think. We are at a cross roads in our lives, but we don’t see the paths because we no longer think.  I realize many of us think we think because we hear thoughts in our heads, and to many, this constitutes thinking.  But thinking is more than that, just as being an artist is more than having a paint brush that swipes a canvass full of colors. Thinking is fresh ideas, ideas that rise up inside us and surprise us with inspiration and inventiveness.  True thinking changes the trajectory of our lives because true thinking springs from the seeds of genius- a Self within, a Universe that computes millions of equations, billions of orbits, and trillions of rotating planets and neutron stars. We’ve exchanged that potential to become lost in a “phone trance” so seductive we no longer look into the eyes of our children as they plead to us- “look mommmy… Look at me mommy!”  We blast our music and drown out the sacred genius of our intuition! We surrender our minds to computers and close our hearts to our lovers as they sit across the room starving to merge with our reality, our attentiveness and our awesome loving spirit that could change a gray moment into a rainbow of spectacular mystery.  But more importantly, we have lost ourselves to ourselves in exchange for a piece of metal that offers us nothing more than an artificial experience. We cannot know fulfillment unless we are interacting with something that is alive.  And we cannot experience fulfillment unless we are expanded by that life and are always becoming more. There is no happiness to be found in contraptions made of metal and steel, no matter how lovely, fascinating or ingenious that package.  Many of us are less alive than ever before.

Our society has become lost in one distraction after another and we are missing the point of our existence, which is the exact opposite of being distracted.  Our purpose was to attend to the exquisite “now”.   For “now” is the only reality.  The past is dead, the future, not guaranteed. That there is a next moment, is a blessing, it cannot be counted on as the dead would attest. You see, we were meant to know stillness, for in the stillness is the breath that brings life to all, and in this breath, is the unseen Creator that is life itself.  We were meant to know the quietness of a moment and like an artist, beautify it.  We are to beautify it with the art of being better at this moment than we were in the last moment.  We were meant to have more faith than yesterday, greater patience than last week, deeper understanding than last night, and more love to offer than a year ago.  We were meant to rise higher than we thought possible, to become more beautiful as the years pass, we were to heal that which science says is terminal, and what doctors label as chronic.  We were meant to attain greater wisdom than the generation before and display miracles of mind blowing awe.  But instead of the extraordinary life, we are distracted, removed from our hearts, and galaxies away from our Spirit. We are caught up in metallic gadgets and less attentive to human beings, less affectionate to our children less passionate to our lovers, less inside our bodies, and worse, less human than ever before. But more than this, more than this, we have lost our common sense, our Godlike genius and our higher functioning by becoming nothing more than extensions of a computerized technology that has unwittingly captured our souls.

The Light At The End of The Tunnel

I was thinking of a challenging area of my life and musing over how I had such a wonderful attitude towards all the twists and turns I’ve had.  This project that I speak of has presented me with one battle after another, yet I deal with it, and march on.  Over and over, I march on.  I thought of several other areas of my life which I feel are draining and from which I would prefer to not march on, but sever it from my life. Why, I wondered, hadn’t I dealt with those and simply marched on in the same way?  And it occurred to me, that the challenges that I persevere in, are the challenges where I am inspired with high hopes, I see the light at the end of the tunnel and the light is brilliant, enchanting, and very rewarding.  I know once it is over it will be great and leave me far richer and wiser than before.  The areas that I find I would prefer to flee, well these areas are those that don’t have a silver lining.  These challenges, when I look down the road, don’t get better.  In fact, they seem to increase in chaos. Now the question is, do they not have a silver lining because of my attitude or do they not have a silver lining simply because I am looking at it reasonably and just facing the facts?

One could argue all things turn out for our betterment.  As the saying goes, “what does not kill me, makes me stronger”.   I agree with this.  But when I look down the path at some ventures, I see a final destination that reveals only one ray of light, and that it, it will make me stronger.  Is it worth it to remain on a path that has only one upside, I ask myself? So, staying in a bad relationship may make me stronger, that’s true, but really, I’d prefer to leave and find a path that pays out more than one dividend. How about a great relationship that not only makes me stronger, but that also brings me joy, a sense of excitement and a feeling of being inspired?  Should I remain in a job that is wrought with increasingly more and more paperwork, less organization and pitiful raises that, yes, will make me stronger, but nothing more?  No, I don’t suppose I will simply deal with it and march on.  I will instead find a position that is better suited, that brings me a sense of purpose and the feeling that I am appreciated.  Or perhaps I will hone a talent that is marketable and craft those abilities until I etch out a path that leads to a financial payoff.

I believe that those of us who are basically optimists are hopeful in times that are hard when we see that what we are engaging in will benefit us.  And the greater our self-love and esteem, the greater benefits we require if we are going to dig in and engage the battle.  Those who remain in experiences that only make them more resilient but nothing else are entitled to make that choice. Life is about living and learning lessons, there is no right or wrong as long as we grow. But if I were to make a suggestion, it would be that if the bowl before you has only a cherry inside, you might want to consider sliding the dish to the side.  And after you do so, seek another dish that has two scopes of ice cream, a dash of whip cream with chocolate slowly dripping profusely to the bottle of the bowl and topped with two, yes two red juicy cherries on top!

Cutting Edge Science will Blow-You-Away

Blog 3/13/15

The average person’s knowledge of science lags 10 to 30 years behind the most recent discoveries. That means society is operating on ideas and facts that are now outdated. The idea that we are separate and have no effect on another was once thought as true, but is no longer. If we believe we are separate we feel as though our thoughts, our ideas and our emotions affect only us and we have no responsibility outside ourselves to evolve.  But this is not true. The earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that seemed in the past, separate and apart from us, the animals and the environment of the planet. On September 11,2001 the magnetic field that surrounds the earth spiked.  Why, you wonder, did it spike?  The scientists who noticed the anomaly wondered the same as you, but then they searched to find what had occurred in the world on that day and during that interval.  The first plane hitting the World Trade Center Tower is what happened during that spike.

Not only are we not separate from one another, our thoughts and emotions are not separate from the cells that make our bodies, bones and organs.  You see, our mind creates an inner atmosphere for the cells in our bodies, which either encourage our cells to thrive or to cease optimal growth. The new science tells us that the nucleus is no longer the brain that instructs our cells and that mutation is actually not random. If our cells are not governed by the nucleus and mutations don’t occur haphazardly, then the causative force that changes the behaviors of our cells is us. This is what the new science is telling us.  It is telling us that cancerous cells become cancerous because we create an inner environment that is prime for this kind of life threatening mutation.

The new science also tells us that our thoughts are energy.  Energy does things, it moves things and influences things. So your thoughts influence your life, my life and the world.  Your heart radiates energy as well.  So your heart, your feeling nature in other words, does things, it moves things, influences and creates things. The energy of your heart is thousands of times greater than your thoughts, so what you think is true, is not as powerful as what you feel is true.  Science is walking in the direction of being able to conclude that your thoughts create your life. But that your heart, what you feel, well, that has the final say of what gets created. This is what the new science is telling us. Take a breath now and allow this to sink inside you.  Seriously. Because the new science is also telling us that we use our thinking, creative mind only 5% of the day, and the rest of the day, we run on our inner unconscious programs.  These programs reside in our subconscious mind and often come from our parents, TV, or in other words, something other than us.  So take a breath, feel you, and allow this new information to become part of you.

So what are we to garnish from all of this? The thing to contemplate is that science is beginning to paint a picture of life that is eternally generous. The puzzle is beginning to hint at a design of life that does not allow, to the degree we previously believed, outside circumstances to control us.  Our minds and emotions, science is saying, orchestrate the greater part of our lives.  And though some of us appear to be the victim of random occurrences, this affects us far less than what the old science inferred. It points to cancer not just occurring in the body, but occurring in a body whose atmosphere creates enough turbulence to cause enough cells to change their previous programming and mutate. The new science implies that our emotions affect the world’s magnetic field and that must mean something huge, something that will shatter even more paradigms and theories in time to come.  So here’s some advice.  Be like a scientist about your life, and speculate more than you claim to know, and expect to be continually amazed by a Universe that is beginning to look more and more like an awfully incredibly benevolent lawmaker.

Where Sensuality and Spirituality Meet the Rubber

Blog 2/20/15

In spite of seeing sex and sensuality blasted in almost every ad, in practically every movie we see and nearly every song we hear, most Americans have issues with their sexuality.  If we were truly comfortable with our sexuality, for example, men wouldn’t need to look at so much porn.  Whatever incredibly exciting feeling they were trying to achieve through perusing Playboy all by their lonesome, they’d feel bold enough, vulnerable enough, skilled or deep enough to achieve it through sex with their actual partners.  And women, well, some women wouldn’t secretly feel relieved when their periods were on, or when the kids climbed into the bed at night relieving them of having to find an excuse for not having sex. Somehow it seems that feeling really good is somehow, really not good. To further the point, the General Social Survey found that married couples have sex an average of 58 times per year which is a little over once a week- barely.  Yet a National Survey of more than 3,000 men and women ages 57-85, causes one to take pause with regard to this lackadasical drive to feel good.  For 23% of our older population claim to have sex at least once a week. And some of them are 85 years young, which is only not bad, it's actually refreshing and something to look forward to. But for something as pleasurable as touching and kissing, one might reasonably suppose more people would do it not only often, but as often as they physically could.

Somehow, most of mankind has separated the sensual from the spiritual, yet minus the guilt and references to hell, most spiritual practices are very soothing, even sensual, I dare say.  Most spiritual practices employ quietude, meditation or prayer, which automatically stimulates deep breathing and focused minds-the exact ingredients for good sex, I might add.  Or perhaps these aren’t the ingredients for average sex, but instead are akin to the practices of tantric sex.  In any event, what the sensual expression, meditation, prayer and yoga all have in common is the release of hormones like endorphins and serotonin that not only support robust health, but also have the potential to reverse disease.  In other words, prayerful meditation, sexual activity and yoga all reinforce the activity or expression of healthiness.  “Umm, interesting,” you say.

When we meditate long enough we usually find an interior state or Self that is referred to as the 'knowing our true nature'. “To know yourself is to know God”, is what occurs when we mediate or have a deep enough prayer life that involves more listening or feeling than speaking or beseeching.  When we begin to access this state or Self on a regular basis we develop an interior life, an inner life.  As time passes, this inner life begins to feel absolutely delicious and this is sensual to many. This inner merging or aligment causes one to experience a level of excitement for oneself, and this is the result of communing with a part of our self that is bigger and divine.  This aspect of us is so radiant it exudes bliss, heightened exuberance, and that feels very sexy, to put it bluntly. But for those of you who are shocked, let’s define what it is to feel sexy.  One dictionary defines sexy as:  excitingly appealing, and the synonyms it offered were:  passionate and stimulating.  So feeling sexy can have nothing to do with sex and more to do with a heightened sense of feeling extraordinarily great.

The Eastern Indian culture is no stranger to how our sensuality and spirituality meet and merge.  In fact tantric yoga, which branches off into a practice called tantric sex uses the physical act of making love for the specific purpose of attaining a spiritual experience!  When practicing tantric sex the partners use breathing, an open heart, the willingness to vulnerably express their emotions so that their two souls might freely move through their bodies and merge one with the other.  How incredible is that, and what does that mean, some may wonder?  Well, if meditating takes you to a place within that is sacred and blissful; and the manner in which it provides that transportation is wholeheartedly through breathing and inward focusing, then deep breathing and inward focusing during love making takes you right down that very same path.  The reason tantric sex is a practice and not something that every Tom, Dick and Harry experience whenever they have sex, is because most people have no idea of how powerful it is to connect the breath to consciousness.  Many are almost fully unaware of their breathing styles, in fact.  In addition, it is difficult to breathe deeply and in a focused and relaxed manner when you are engaging in sex with someone you don’t trust deeply for this kind of breathing does and is supposed to conjure emotions, some of which create feelings of immense vulnerability and fear.  Once more, when these feeling arise, in tantric sex, you remain connected to them, and this is what deepens the experience, the intimacy, and what brings you to a greater place of spiritual authenticity.  Before I move on, you might find it food for thought to know that in Aramaic the same word is used for both breath and spirit.

Finally, ultimately, what if the spiritual journey is actually about merging with ourselves and consequently feeling so absolutely turned on by the experience of this merging that we simply can’t help but radiate love and kindness to the entire world?  Consider this, if you were actually walking around on a daily basis feeling nearly orgasmic could you really hate, judge or do harm to another at the same time?  The answer is an undoubtedly no.  So ponder the repercussions of this path that simply involves the ecstatic joyous journey inward, and what it might mean if it were true.  For if it were so, wouldn’t it be a lot easier to forego all the hell and brimstone?  If we did forego this, we could just get to the whole loving God and humanity by way of simply feeling so divinely delicious that all we had to give was that same divine deliciousness to others?  Think of how different the world would be if we walked the earth feeling this way.

The Real Matrix

Blog 2/9/15

Okay, so which pill would you prefer, the red or blue?  “The red”, you say, and then I say… “Are you sure?”  And you say, “Yes.” And then I say, “Well okay, but get ready for a ride, because you are about to see how deep the rabbit hole is.” And then you say, “Enough of the Matrix quotes and get on with things.”  So, I will.

Lesson I:  You live in two realities.  Right now, right now, you are moving in and out of two realities.  The world you see rises up from the unseen world of vibration.  Okay, did you get that?  You read it too quickly, so let me repeat it.  The real world is unseen, made of vibrations, and your eyes translate color and form into what you are looking at right now.  Your ears translate vibrations into the music that is playing in the background, and the nerves in your skin are translating the atoms you are sitting upon, into the sensation of being in contact with something, or… someone.  Everything you see is actually made up of atoms, and atoms are 99% empty space.  So what appears to be solid, in reality, is not and more than that, it is a field of subatomic atoms vibrating and creating the illusion of whatever it is you are seeing or touching. So we are spirits.  Right?  We are spirits experiencing something other than what we actually are.

We move so effortlessly from one reality to the other that we don’t realize it.  So we are fish in search of the water that is so subtle we don’t realize we are moving through it every moment of our life, which is, in itself, a tribute to our Creator’s infinite artistry and mastery.

Lesson II: You exist in this vibratory reality as well as the one you think of as “the real life”.  The “you” that exists in the vibratory state, has absolute power, knows everything you need to know and more, and is always, always, in a state of pure playful joy and mastery.  But that’s not all.  All of your thoughts and feelings live in this vibratory reality.  Let me back up, your thoughts are electromagnetic energy.  Your thoughts are vibration, and your thoughts exist in this vibratory reality.  But the “you” that exists in this vibratory reality only pays attention to the positive thoughts.  Why?  Because the “you” that exists in the vibratory reality cannot sense lower thoughts and feelings, just like you cannot see ultraviolet rays.  The “you” in the vibratory realm has too high a frequency to detect negative or lower thoughts or feelings.

Are you sure you want me to go on because the rabbit hole is about to get even deeper.  You could stop reading now and I would not feel any less or hold it against you.  In fact you have gained a lot of insight already if you were not aware of these things before.  You could very well stop reading right now and have weeks and weeks of material to meditate on.  I mean, come on, it will probably take you months alone to sense, really sense that you exists in two realities.  Okay, so you want me to continue? Brillant.

So, as I said you exist in a reality called the “vibratory realm”, which is what Ester Hicks, the channel for ‘Abraham’, calls your ‘vibrational escrow’.  Your vibrational escrow are all the desires you wish to experience that are born from your constantly wanting life to get better and better.  So for example, you fell in love, and then you desired a love that would last, and that idea of lasting love became part of your escrow account.  And you graduated from college and finally landed a job that corresponds to your studies, but it doesn’t pay much, so now you think- “I would like to have a job I love and make a good living.” So, this became part of your escrow, your vibrational escrow, you see?  So this vibratory realm is a place where all your improved desires live… Here’s what is so very exquisite- the “you” that exists in the vibratory realm is experiencing all those improved desires that you projected into the realm of vibration.  Yes, there is a “you” who is living quite large, it’s just not the you, you know yourself as.  Oh sure, you experience your escrow here and there.  That new car you just bought, that was in your escrow, but now you have it, so you and your vibrational self became one, merged, and you are both experiencing the same manifestation.  But you and most of us don’t merge with our vibrational self nearly enough, not nearly enough.  But take a moment and breathe this in:  The “you” that exists in the vibratory realm is experiencing all the improved desires that you project into the realm of vibration.  If you are familiar with the Bible you might find that this reminds you of the scripture, “Ask and you shall receive”.  Umm, you say.  “Yes, that does remind me of that.”  So why aren’t you experiencing your desires, why is it that you have asked but haven not yet experienced your desires? You are asking this, yes?

Lesson III:  There is a quote that suggests you “Pray in Spirit”, and so it is that must visit the vibrational realm, that unseen reality, on a regular basis.  You have to close your eyes, think of those things you want, and feel them with your heart.  Your heart also radiates electromagnetic energy, is power like an electrical field, and possesses attraction properties like a magnet.  You have to feed your thoughts and emotions with your mind and you have to nourish them with your heart and emotions.  You have to ‘make love’ to the vibrations you’d like to give birth to.  You may feel doubt, you may not even believe this.  It doesn’t matter.  Those things live in this realm, and as long as you can visit the vibrational realm every day and feed your desires by acknowledging them, and feeling them, sensing them, experiencing them as real if only for a minute or two, you are feeding their vibration.  And if you feed these vibrations enough, they reach critical mass, they reach a concretizing point and transform from water to ice and sparks to a flame.  They become something that you couldn’t hold in your hand to something tangible.

Life becomes absolutely fun when you realize what you desire is alive somewhere and waiting for you.  Life becomes amazing and you can’t help but find yourself appreciating and loving that splendid, magnificent Spirit of Love that gave you a life that lives even beyond your waking mind.  These ideas must be meditated upon, however.  You cannot just read them and go about your day and expect a change in your life any more than you can read about going to the gym and expect a body that is strong and energetic.  We must all practice our spirituality and we must all make a choice about what world it is we will worship- the one we can see and touch, or the one that exists beyond our senses.

The New Reality

Blog: 1/26/15

If you are a seeker, you realize your entire life is now about re-programming yourself.  You understand that we create reality, but this truth is not taught at home, in school, and often not even in our religious institutions.  Regardless of where you are in this journey, here is something for you to meditate on for the next few months.  Life exists in the realm of vibration.  I will say it another way now.  The vibratory realm is the real world.  Reality IS the realm of vibration.

When you hear my voice, you do not hear it in the realm in which is exists.  Instead, your eardrums reach into the realm of the vibratory reality and, detecting sound, which is in reality, vibration, brings it back into this world we call “real”. You do not see me in the realm in which I exist. Instead the rods and cones in your eyes reach into the vibratory realm, and detecting my form, which in reality, is a mass of vibrating colors and shapes, brings it back into this world we call “real”. You do not feel my touch, nor do you touch my feelings.  Instead the nerves in your skin detect the vibration of my hand in yours and brings that experience into this world, the experiential world.  Neither do you touch my feelings, but you detect them, you detect them with your 6th sense.  So you see, we have all been moving in between two worlds and not realizing it.  We are as fish in search of water, swimming in and through the very magic we seek.

And this is huge if you take deep breath and allow it to resonate inside your spirit. This is huge if you take these ideas into your meditation, and like a farmer, water them with your eagerness and radiate the light of your consciousness onto them. The reality in which we exist is empty, it is silence, it is without color, it is void of emotion, and what we are doing every moment is filling it up with sound, beauty, love, drama, and form.  But in truth, it is emptiness and we are, even right now, creators!

Science has proven that the brain/mind creates a magnetic field.  Science has also proven that your heart creates a magnetic field. The magnetic field always brings to it that which is its vibratory match.  Your heart creates a magnetic field that is 5,000 times greater than that of the brain’s field.  Can you sense what that means?  What this fact does is explain why so many spiritual practices are stressing not simply to think of the best life, the healthiest state, the greatest love, the most abundant lifestyle that you can imagine, but to ‘feel’ it too.  And it is in your heart that you feel things. But aside from just feeling what it is you want to create, really feel it!  Feel it as though it is absolutely true.  Feel it until it is uncomfortable because the part of you in this reality is afraid of being shattered by the growing strength of what it may call folly.  Feel it because your heart has a magnetic field 5,000 times stronger than your brain, and what the heart believes, the heart creates.

So meditate on every facet of your life for at least 10-15 minutes a day.  Go right through the list of, "I experience perfect health", and if you can, go into each part of your body and make that inner atmosphere exquisite in whatever way you call exquisite.  Next, think of your relationship goals and say, "I am loved, I am adored, and I love and adore as well", or say whatever your vision of love is.  Go now to your career, to your finances, to your life style, and send the vibratory reality your command.  It is important not to say, “I don’t want a marriage that is wrought with arguments, or I don’t want someone who will cheat.” Instead say what you do want. Do not say, “I am not struggling financially” but instead say, “I have, after paying my bills, an abundance of 1,000 per month, 6,000 per month, or however magnificent an abundance you can conceive- and feel it.  Your mind is not the faculty that organizes the 'how to' of your goals.  Your divine Self is the intelligence that, knowing infintely more than you, knows how to create whatever you can believe in.

But it is important to feel it.  Feel it as though it is your reality now and all that you are doing is actually appreciating it. This is your reality now, and imagine that what you are doing is thinking of what is real, and saying to God, the Universe, to AllThatIs, “I acknowledge these things, and I am thankful.”  Feel it as though it is so real, you are simply perusing your blessings and feeling gratitude. And make this practice something you do every day.  You can do this at work, closing your eyes for a few moments and moving through your entire life, one area after another and sending the vibratory world your command.  You can do this at the gym while you are on the elliptical or while you are running.  You can make this a practice with your partner where you both sit in a quiet room, perhaps with candles lit and incense burning and you say aloud or in silence, your vision for your life.  You can do this with your children, not only impacting and creating their lives, building a deeper more meaningful bond with them, but also passing on your love of spirituality to them.  And naturally you can do this when you awaken in the morning and before you fall asleep at night.

The point is, realize the experiential world is not where reality exists, it is the vibratory world that is real.  And every moment of every day, you are, even now, reaching into it and seeing vibrations that become the smiling face of someone you love, hearing vibrations that become the music that fills you with joy, and feeling the spirit of love that becomes the experience of being adored or forgiven in this place which we falsely call the ‘real world’.

Life: Your Debut

Blog 1/18/15

Life has existed for billions of years before the world offered its stage to you.  Does this fact move you, motivate you to make this life count, or are you numb to how magnificent it is that now you are here?  The fact of the matter is this- are you grateful, from the core of your heart, are you grateful to now be here- alive and able to create experiences that affect you and the world?  Most of us are numb to the great reality of how long it has taken life to draw back the curtains and allow them the opportunity to live large, to make this moment substantial and to not sweat the small stuff because, well, why would you? This is after all, your debut.

Those of us who live small lives do so for many reasons.  Some are weighed down with the pain of an abusive upbringing.  Others feel held back by a society they feel does not favor “their kind”.  And then there are those who are simply afraid, afraid to feel, afraid to dream big and afraid to step outside of the box that surrounds them. Here are some truths if you are looking for truths to set you free.  If you feel pain, welcome to the club. We, all of us have the same experiences, nuanced only by our individual consciousness and that of those who were part of our experience.  But no one escapes life without pain, and everyone’s pain, is to them, unique and exceptional. Yet the reality is that pain is not exceptional, it is the norm, so let go of dramatizing it.  With regard to being held back?  In every era there is a race, a gender, an age group that is held back, and in every era, there are those who transcend the same barriers that hold back their comrades.  Life favors the brave, so let go of your respect for whatever barrier you believe to be your captor. And lastly there is fear.  Fear is that state of mind that haunts you with a commentary of doom.  Fear is your opponent, look at fear in this way. And when fear enters your awareness, decimate it with your courage by telling fear to “give you its best shot”.  And then watch how that state of mind flees.  It is bizarre, but fear will run when you open your arms and say, “come with it…I’m ready for you.”  And why is that?  It is based on the idea that you don’t have to believe your thoughts.  They, many of them, are simply ridiculous and when you “call them out”, thoughts dissipate by the power of your superior awareness.

This is your life. It is the only life that you will ever have. Even if you believe in reincarnation, you will never be you again.  Ever.  So try to find a way to comprehend that life has come and gone for eons without you, and now that you’re here you’ll be damned if you’ll let it go by unnoticed. If you don’t attempt to transcend your part in the play, if you don’t attempt to step out of the role life dealt you, and instead you simply remain locked into the same drama day in and day out- you will despise yourself.  You will despise yourself because somewhere inside all of us, we know we are a gift to life just as much as life is a gift to us. Yet if we miss the significance of both these ideas, we die inside, and this inner death erodes self-respect and self-love.

The entire purpose of your life is to do three things: Find you, Love you, and then share that love with the world. Leave any part of this equation out, and you will not have the necessary ingredients to live the spectacular life and though your heart beats, your Soul will be dead.

The World is Your Playground

Blog 1/1/15

When you work on yourself, you change inwardly. After a while, you begin to believe you are loved by some incredibly powerful force. Then you begin to feel safe enough to become playful. You take chances, like reaching for that sacred dream, you want to dance and lose yourself, and you do, or you simply want to call that person you secretly crave to connect with, and you call...The world becomes your personal playground, so the next thing that happens, is you look around for others to play with, but often all you find is adults who've lost the magic and ridicule you for having found it again. You were meant for greatness, even if you were despised by those who were supposed to love you. It takes the same energy to have a small goal as it does to have a big one, and never grow up, adults are only children with longer legs.

Happy Freakin' New Year!

Lessons of Simplicity…

Blog 5/30/15

The aim of life is to Love life so much, you even appreciate the stuff that hurts. The point of Love is to realize oneness through the merging of the heart. The aim of life is to be so free, everything feels so alive, you believe in magic again. The definition of magic, is that which creates something, from nothingness, or the seen from the unseen. The Source of Life, is Life, and it is so large, it knows everyone and everything, because it is everyone and everything. The trick to life- is to accept everything, for what we resist grows, and what we accept, the Divine, aligns. The purpose of pain to is urge us back into alignment. The path of alignment is enlightenment. The point of time is not to become a number, but to become mature and hence, wise.  The aim of maturity and wisdom, is to bring about mastery. The purpose of mastery, is to manifest creations in the likeness of the Divine.  The likeness of the Divine, is to always, always, radiate exceptional, exquisite, brilliant Love.

Mediocrity Always Scorns Genius

Blog 5/15/15

We were meant to be spectacular.  Look at the heavens and see the glorious canvass of stars and celestial bodies should you need proof of this. Or do not look above, but below at the seemingly endless oceans with its coral reefs, sacred oceanic life and a hem of sand and pebbles that shimmer like diamonds in the twilight.  Would we, could we be any less spectacular?  Do not wonder if this is so, instead, ask “Why not?”

It is the divine plan to surround the butterfly within a formidable cocoon, a chickling with an arduous shell, and humanity with a daunting aura of self-doubt. When the caterpillar breaks free, an exquisite butterfly is revealed and when we break free of self-doubt and faithlessness, we display new inventions, awesome strength, inspiring perseverance and God-like artistry.  It is divine to be challenged, for the God within knows nothing can conquer it, therefore the challenge is merely a game.  The butterfly does not complain, neither the chickling, for it they did, they would be like us, and we would find countless cocoons and eggs that contain the dead remains of those that had given up.  We do not find these, do we? No, only the human mind has the freewill capable of embracing defeat.

Those who will not self-define will crumble under the weight of dysfunctional, abusive parents, envious and callous siblings, and a hateful jealous society.  It is the unfortunate that does not know it is the nature of the masses to crucify the Christ and save the thief for the masses support mediocrity and scorn the genius. Yet those who will dare to define themselves will rise above the cocoon of pain and the shell of self-doubt by inventing themselves according to their inner creed. They feel the same pain as those who will not rise above the depth of the bruised heart, but unlike those who seek to live beneath even mediocrity, the soul that defines itself believes that somehow, it must be great.  The soul self is often not sure of its greatness, and many times, no one will be kind enough to lift them high enough to see the radiance of their own majesty, but still they take the daunting chance and believe in the impossible.  They believe it is not too good to be true, and they believe somehow there is something far greater than themselves that loves and supports a life for them that is miraculous. Yes, these are the ones who understand those who choose to live lesser lives will always throw stones at shimmering hopes and graffiti the walls of the magnificent. These are the ones, those who self-define, who know that many of those they turn to for support will actually be, beneath the smile, dream killers that attempt to rip apart their fragile blueprints of a better life.  They will rip apart your dreams, because they rip apart their own. And yet, those who self-define continue on!  These are the ones who take an insult and choose to prove it wrong, who will take a put down and decide success is the better revenge.  These are the ones who will face rejection from another, and instead of seeking yet another outside the Self, will instead dig inward to find their own self-love, the inner Lover who will never leave or betray. These are the ones who continue to go within for reassurance, they go within for faith, love and perseverance.  While the others look to each other for false comfort, those who self-define carry within, their own dictionary, their own bible and their own Majestic Godhead.  They are called the resilient, those who self-define.  They are called "Wonderful, counselor, the Prince of Peace", geniuses, pillars of the community or even Masters. Yet look beneath their lofty titles and you will see the scars made by the world that would bring to his knees, even Hercules.

Yes, mediocrity always scorns genius, but not because it is evil or deliberately malevolent, but because genius and mediocrity exist in opposite ends of the spectrum.  And for those who embrace the mediocre scale, genius does not really exist. Not really.  And so these two levels of consciousness reside in different worlds, and never, ever the twain shall meet.  Therefore, do not seek the world outside if your intentions are to know the exceptional life, but instead, dig deeper within.~

In that Moment You Are God...

Blog 4/4/15

If you wrote a story, though every character might be vastly different from your personality, in effect, every character would still be you.  For who else could the characters be if they were born from within? So it is with God/Universe/Creator.  All that the Master Creator, created, comes from Its womb and is of Her Spirit, her nature and likeness. We are all God.  It's only that we are God at different stages of enlightenment.  Some parts of God live in the shadows, some in the twilight of awareness, and others reside or aspire to reside in the light.  But no one remains in the light all of the time, for that is what makes God- God.

Having awareness and seeking awareness is simply an aspect of the Divine desiring to function with clarity.   To function with clarity we must be able to see through a moment and into the sacred beauty of that moment. We must see our despair is a lesson in disguise.  We must see that this road block is placed where it is only to strengthen our faith.  We must experience another enraged at us, and see the reality of their pain.  We must incur the selfishness of others and sense the reality of their fear.  All darkened emotions are born from fear.  And fear is the result of feeling separate from God/Power/Fulfillment. We fear we will not have enough, this is the root of prejudice, for why would someone who lives in fullness need to hate? When we harm another, the root of this is fear as well. When we steal, lie, abuse, subjugate, scream, accuse- when we do these things it is because some place within is empty, starving and absent of fulfillment.  When we are fulfilled, all we have within is love, we only have joy over flowing, and that is all we can give. And when we are fulfilled, we give the world our juicy bliss! You see, we can only give what is within.  When another offers us pain, they are giving to us, their own fractured soul, for that is all they can give us- in that moment.

God is fulfillment.  Awareness of the Divine leads us to the path of realizing that embodying our Creator is to embody All-ness.   It is only when we feel merged and one with Life that we experience our All-ness.  So understand this beautiful truth: When you are kind, in that moment you are Light/God, when you forgive, when you understand, when you offer compassion, when you do these things, in that moment, you are Radiance/God.  You are, instead of God in the shadows, God in Her All-ness when you offer these gifts.  That is why when more and more of us learn to truly love each other, the world and all its creatures, this world will transform and become Heaven because then, and only then, will the fractures of God unite and become whole!

We Are All the Same

blog 3/24/15

There really are no villains in this life, only those who instead of gently helping us to grow force us to. And we do the same to others even if we don't know it. We may think, "I am a loving person, I never hurt others, at least not intentionally." But when you don't forgive because you have been hurt, you may be wounding another very deeply. Think of it like this, that person who wounded you, may not have known how to respond to you in any other way. Some weren't taught to love and give in the same fashion as us. When you decide to cut someone from your life, or when you stop talking to them, to you this is not wounding them for you are not acting against them, you are simply withdrawing. Yet that may hurt just as deeply as if you had acted against them.

Is this to say we must keep everyone in our lives, and we must never break ties with others? No, there are some people we must forgive at a distance because in some way they are too toxic to share at close proximity. But we all hurt each other, we all fall short, and we all betray. Some of us hurt and betray more than others, this is true, but who's counting? When we are all guilty, degrees don't matter. We are all the same, and when we accept this fully, we aren't wounded quite as deeply as before, and we don't wound others quite the way we did before either.

Regaining The Art of Playfulness

Blog 3/5/15

I met someone who was not perfect, but who, it seemed in one area at least, was fully present and completely authentic.  It was an area within the personality that most of us would attempt to hide.  It was that part of us which is fully and completely smitten by another to the point of childlike, unabashed enthusiastic excitement.  It put me off, I admit.  At least at first. And then I envied their ability to so freely allow another human being to know just how drawn and enamored they were with them.

I didn’t intend to emulate this person as much as what they exhibited crept into my psyche and made a room for itself. And there it wreaked havoc and stumped its feet insisting on getting in on the “play”, the stage of life, a room in my inner mansion, a place in my feeling nature where it too could find expression in what we call the ‘real world’.  Perhaps I had a choice, perhaps I could have said no, but I feel I had no choice, so compelling was its presence.  I began to allow its discomfort to surface into my everyday thoughts.  And soon I began to meditate on it, to think on it, to imagine what life would be like if this expression of pure exuberance, uninhibited excitement for the experience of another, became part of my repertoire.

And then one evening I had a chance to allow this expression its debut. I’d met someone that was at the very least, intriguing enough to excite my curiosity, and I wanted more.  Me, the detached, me, the nothing is essential because everything is simply an exchangeable symbol, found myself not readily wanting to exchange this experience, this person, this opportunity for another symbol. I wanted to know and experience them! And I pursued.  Yes, to you this seems simple.  But for someone who has practiced non-attaching freeness-my lofty term, or detachment- the one most use, pursuing as a rule had not been part of the equation for quite a long time now.  And so, I pursued.  And it felt exhilarating.  I even embraced being a bit pushy, boldly assertive, something I could almost say I abhorred when it related to me interacting with people- and not me relating to an inanimate goal, let’s say. And then I felt the nascent stirrings of a self that sort of enjoyed this “pushiness” this desire for inexcusable, unabashed assertiveness. Uhm…that was revealing and startling.

In the background I heard my inner self say as I had these thoughts:  “When you are aligned, there is nothing that can go awry with your pursing.” Wow, I thought, but my inner self wasn’t finished. “And when you are not aligned, there is nothing and no one that can pursue you and find alignment in that act.” In other words, when situations fall into my lap, when people flock to me, when circumstances all line up as though destined”, If I am not aligned, all these situations will dissolve for one reason or another.  Yet, if I am aligned, I can pursue, dive into, jump through any circumstance and things will simply unfold in the highest manner possible. And here’s the beauty of this inspired message.  When everything falls apart, it does little to try to analyze it when the core reason is that I am simply out of alignment with my Self, my inner truth.  Likewise, when things come together, oh so beautifully, trying to figure out why is irrelevant as well, for the reason points to my alignment, pure and simple. Only a few of you will sense the Tsunami of a revelation this was.  This was ginormous, galactic… it really made a difference in my perspective is what I’m trying to say.

And so my thought for today is this, we all have a personal frequency, an equation of energy that is perfectly us, and when we accept this and how this moves us through life, everything is as it should be. Always.  Even if things seem to be falling apart, it is only because they are meant to be rebuilt with a framework made of gold and stone replaced with marble.

The Observations of stillness

Blog 2/27/15

I believe we are all given pieces to the puzzle of truth. If we acknowledge that everyone has something of value to offer, when we interact we do so with a new awareness. When we believe that we are gifts to each other our antennas reach out further and adjust themselves so that they can pick up the truth of the moment. Even when someone is painful to be around it teaches us at the very least, how to not use that as an example in our own lives. If we however take it a step further, we may come to understand that only those in pain inflict pain, for how could it be otherwise? We give what we are, therefore the cantankerous are cantankerous within as well as without. This person deserves a prayer, not our scorn.

Many of us are accustomed to always judging situations as good or not good, people as attractive or not attractive and circumstances as nice or not nice. In reality, we needn't be constant judges to learn and be ever aware of our surroundings. We can cultivate the habit of simply observing life and allowing it to be without the need to over label everything. There is more gray in life than there is absolute right or wrong. Much of what we say is right has been taught to us by others and is not innately one or the other in and of itself. When we let go of allowing our thinking to not only observe but go that extra step and judge an experience what we are doing is helping ourselves to remain flexible and pliable. When we observe life, we become masters at filing experiences. We don't make as many conclusions instead we file it away until there is enough data that the puzzle completes itself. When we judge, however, what we are saying is- "I have concluded that this is this, or that this is that and there is no need to revisit this experience, end of story! This is how we become fixed in our ways, which most of us loathe in others.

We want to always grow and see the world with eyes that expect to be amazed by the wondrous life that we have been gifted with. Letting go of our judgmental nature helps us to remain child-like but wise as well. We remain childlike because we acknowledge that we are not suitable judges- only spirit can inform the flesh and not vice versa, and this truth that we make pitiful judges is only made by a soul gifted with wisdom. Do yourself a favor and live life more joyful and with more freedom by learning how to flow and rest in the wisdom of your Inner Self.

The Art of Detachment

Blog 2/14/15

Many of us enjoy, enjoying what brings us delight.  But when whatever it was that first brought us joy, no longer does, we all would like to be able to move on gracefully, yet that is rarely the case.  The reason we become attached to people, situations and things is because we are mistaking where it is that the joy comes from.  The joy we experience always comes from the level of vibration or as some call it, the level of the spirit.  The delight is never in the form of what we experience, but beneath the soil, beneath the experience and at the level of its roots.  The joy is always at the level of our emotions and emotions are spirit, they are unseen, unable to be touched by our physical hands.  Emotions are energy that vibrate.

When we fall in love, we fall in love with the spirit of the creator which is expressing itself through the flesh of our loved one.  We are not in love, when it is truly love, with the flesh, but with the gorgeous feeling that we receive when we are with that person, or when we think of that person.  This gorgeous feeling flows through them, in them, and out of them and through everyone else that you love or feel a great attachment toward.  When we realize this truth, we will still miss the person with whom we formed an attachment toward, but we will also know the spirit that we loved is independent of them.  And so we shall find love again, because the love we experience is the spirit – the spirit of love itself and not the flesh that gives it expression.

When we look into the mirrors and find our reflection beautiful, as we all should learn to do, if we are admiring how our inner selves radiate our inner beauty, we will always find our reflection exquisite and unique.  It is true what we find beautiful during one era of our life may not be present during another era in our life, but there will always be beauty because our inner self is breathtaking.  It is always breathtaking.  It is only that we have somehow equated changing looks with a loss of attractiveness that has caused us to become so attached to misconstrued beauty. But we can learn to love what is true about ourselves when we learn how to feel our inner self, how magnificent it feels, and radiate that outward.  Surely you find a puppy adorable, the growing puppy wondrous, and your mature pooch absolutely lovely!  So the beauty we possess is adorable, and is transformed into wondrous and breathtaking as well.  When you think of it, a wrinkle does not take away beauty, does it?  If you’ve always loved your eyes, your lips, or whatever, that wrinkle does not overtake your eyes nor hide your lips.  In fact, it is usually only those with wrinkles who notice wrinkles so that solves that!  We are even, you can say, so let’s call a truce!

I recently watched a movie that I hadn’t seen in ten years, and realized that when I watched it a decade ago, I had no awareness of wrinkles, but now that I have this new, irritating awareness, I now saw the actors and actresses a bit differently.  Yet, when I thought of this new change in my thinking, I realized I and most others, as well, are simply having a knee jerk reaction by believing a line here or there makes less our attractiveness.  Even that little bulge where your lower belly is does not detract from a body that is well taken care of, it is neutral, actually.  Your thinning hair does not make any less, your exquisite chin, or wonderful bone structure.  Yet when we notice these elements in ourselves we have concluded they are negatives and make us less than in some manner.  This is nonsense, and we can let go of this thinking, for these new elements that come upon us are truly only additions to the ‘art’ that is us. We can teach ourselves to let go of our attachment to rigidly held concepts of beauty that define beauty as something that is unchanging.  You see, this is what we have unknowingly concluded, I realized.  We have unwittingly looked upon any changes to our features and body as something that makes us less.  We have to admit this is ridiculous when we really examine it.  And so we must let go of our attachment to this nonsensical standard by opening our perceptions and by allowing our skill of scrutinizing the minute, to diminish. We can do this for others as well.  We let go of our attachment of being so critical and exchange that for a redefinition of what it means to be content with life and with ourselves.

When we learn to sense the spirit within all that we are, all that we do, all that we love and of all that we possess, we learn to flow with life and allow life to change while we remain in joyousness.  Life will always move, but we can remain inside our joy when we understand this experience called life. All that we have is given to us from the realm of spirit. Everything we are and experience comes from a vibratory reality.  When we truly understand this, we become less anxious because we realize it is only the form that changes when the relationship is over, when we evolve, our job gets cut or we lose a possession.  When we comprehend that all grows from the level of a vibration we have accepted into our lives, we also realize the way we attract what it is that we desire, is to feel as though we have it in our experience, or continue to feel connected to the feeling we had when we were experiencing it- including how we behold ourselves.

The Argument Against Aging

Blog 2/6/15

Not all cultures acknowledge 365 days as meaningful to their development.  Believe it or not, there are parts of the world that actually don’t pay attention to that day we in America call birthdays.  The people in these cultures are timeless, they are simply born and get on with living.  In our culture, though, we count the years and then we begin to lookout for wrinkles and thinning hair. We set goals for ourselves not based on what our inner spirit dictates, but instead by the amount of days, months and years we’ve lived and what is considered appropriate in relation to those days and years.

Personally, when I don’t think of age, I simply feel a vibrant state of joy and absolute freeness.  When people don’t bombard and corner me with their insistent questions about what age I am, I feel timeless and infinite.  I love it and I miss the time when I lived from one moment to the next merely interested in how I could improve my life as opposed to how I was supposed to act, who I was supposed to date and how silly I could be without being frowned upon.  I recall a time when the concept of wrinkles was nonexistent.  How blessed those days were.

America is highly age conscious.  We don’t flow with time, instead we are caught within it like a spiders web.  We stand still- within time, investigating every nuance and judgmentally deciding whether or not we are fitting into the moment with the correct amount of appropriateness.  But what might life be like if we let go of the concept of aging and simply got on with the act of living?  Well, many of us would remain as spontaneous and experimental as children.  We would mature, but never “grow up” into rigid, stiff people who frown upon dancing with abandon and laughing from the belly. If we were single, we would never lose that sense of excitement when we met someone we liked.  We would allow our heart to dictate when we call them instead of following the dictates of what “mature” people do now that we’re all grown up. We wouldn’t play games to prove that we were adults, and instead we would respond to dating in an intuitive manner. We would, I think, have fun with our personalities, we would know less and wonder more. We would be more comfortable with making mistakes and changing careers.  We wouldn’t believe that it was difficult to get a job after a certain age, or if we were bosses, we wouldn’t think of not hiring someone based on their years.  If we lost our concept of age, I don’t believe we would feel it was difficult to find a lover, or lose weight, or run after that longtime dream just because we’d been “around” for a while.  We would be open to all these things if we lived in society that was born and then simply got on with the act of living from the inside out.  Always going inside ourselves, feeling our hearts and souls and then asking, “Okay, what’s next?”  You see, that’s what the free spirits asks- “Okay, what’s next?” But the average American does this, “Okay, I’m forty now, so I should… blah, blah, blah.”  How dull is that!?  No wonder we’re such an unhappy, greed driven society.  We’ve lost our souls and exchanged them for “calculators” that we worship and that drive our thoughts, emotions, goals and lives.

The alternative to counting the years is to simply realize that we have all been given a certain amount of time to evolve.  When we see life in this way, we have an opportunity to feel excited and motivated to make the most of this time we’ve been given to expand, change, learn and find new exciting challenges to conquer!  Time can be viewed as an expanded moment given to us to fill up with as much joy as possible, but instead, we use it as a check off list that dictates to us how much joy we have behind us, and how little joy we have left.

What a waste.

Meditate, meditate, meditate...

Blog 1/24/15

Meditate because it produces bodily chemicals that calm you.  Because these chemicals heal your mind and body, because these chemicals can boost your immune system which knows how to eradicate disease because there is scientific evidence that we can heal ourselves.  Meditate because when you are inwardly quiet, you notice new feelings and thoughts.  Meditate because these new thoughts create embryos of new life and move you closer to your vortex, that place that holds all your most sacred gifts and the best life ever…. Meditate because it slows down your racing mind, and if continued, teaches your nervous system to drive your thoughts consistently slower.

Meditate because if you are like most of us, you are releasing toxic hormones into your body every day that cause anxiety, heart disease, cloudy perceptions and angst. But when you meditate, it’s as if those toxins were never released.  In other words, healthy hormones cancel out the negative ones.  Meditate because that’s when you can hear the voice of God, or if not Her voice, then you feel Her will, Her quiet, subtle will and then you can follow it and see your life lived with exceptional intelligence.

Meditate because it slows down aging.  Meditate because it feeds the cells of your body and your body ages more slowly as well.  Meditate because it causes you to be more creative, changes how you respond to life and helps you to more easily be a calm, loving, radiant person.  Meditate because when you think of your goals, meditation increases their vibration, and once your inner visions reach a certain vibration, once they reach critical mass, they flesh out and appear in your life.  It’s been happening to all of us all of the time, but we don’t notice because when our thoughts and goals and ideas become “real”, it usually seems so normal we think we had nothing to do with it.  But the truth is, we had everything to do with it. Nothing comes into your life without being born from the entry way of your consciousness and meditation introduces the outer awareness to the power of the inner awareness- the real you. Meditate because you want to finally meet that spectacular, powerful, divinely gifted person called You.

Be Nothing but Change....

Blog 1/2/15

In some way, I have always sought change, hungered for it and embraced change. But something has occurred in the last few years. Perhaps it was the passing of a few who were dear to me, or perhaps it occurred before then, only worsening from the blow of losing loved ones. Whatever it has been, my cutting edge, warrior, kick butt, face the fear kind of attitude, softened, and I suppose I changed, but only in small ways. And that is good too. But for someone like me, someone who lives a big life on the inside at least, small nudges don't suffice nor feed my spiritual appetite.

Two summers ago I went to a "Meetup" meditation group. The woman who ran the group was pleasant, she was pretty, middle aged and a little reserved. So when she used the second half of the meeting to have us, both male and female watch a video of a workshop by a gentleman named, David Deida, I was a little surprised. The workshop we were watching was called "Spirit, Sex and Love." I guess the 'sex' part piqued my curiosity, but then the workshop, only part of which we watched shocked me as well. David Deida, you see, is a very intelligent, free, and astonishingly bold man who speaks about sex in such a bare faced manner, it,  I admit, caused my shyness to render itself. It did more than cause my shyness to surface. It scared me too. He speaks of men and women having sex to bring about a union with God. So this kind of sex is, to use a word, "off the hook", totally uninhibited, stripping away all facades and boundaries. I knew this kind of making love existed though I'd never experienced it. But perhaps it scared me because I'd always wanted it, but was never willing to play my part in its achievment.

So now, two and a half years later I found myself dating a particularly bold, honest to the point of embarrassment, man, who, unbeknownst to him, inspires me to check out the YouTube videos of what I watched two summers ago. And yes, I had the same response. Though viewing them alone, I found myself giggling like a teenager, probably red with blush, but taking it in, taking in the energy of his words, the participants, and their red faces as well. In the days that passed I found myself breathing differently. I found myself able to feel my heart energy differently. I felt my vulnerability in a way that was different. Whereas before, I knew I was vulnerable, in fact, I've gone on an on at length to those who seemed to think I was some kind of pillar of strength and impervious to pain. I felt it now! And it felt scary and beautiful all at once.

I began to read some of my writing where I encouraged others to open their hearts, to expand their minds and I was baffled by how I thought I was doing this, but really wasn't. At least not in the way that I had been in the last few days. Feeling my heart, breathing through it, in a sense, changed so much. When I felt this energy and perused my memories of some of the people and experiences that had hurt me in the past few years, I saw these people and experiences so differently. I forgave them on a deeper level because my ability to sense their vulnerability had shifted now as well. And when I imagined being invovled intimately with another, and I felt this new energy in my heart, I could imagine that what David Deida was saying was real. If I really did allow myself to feel my vulnerability with no walls, pleasure would be as expansive as time and space. I would, as he claimed, be like the ripples upon a river, like the endless wind circling the earth and beyond. And maybe, just maybe if my lover was willing to let go of his facades, I really could take him to the edges of the Universe, to the edges of God, as well.

So now I enter this New Year with a new heart and a new softness, and unfortunately, an estrangement from the muse that inspired this exploration. And I wake up one morning with these thoughts- "If you were to simply allow life to move you and flow through you, you would call him." And my human mind, my rational self, the ego within says, "No, let him call... What if he doesn't answer... you'll look weak." Ugh! Contraction again, fear again, how my humanity renders the flow of spiritual energy into such a muddy consistency! But then my inner free, I love this self to death self, my inner Goddess of life, spirit, whispers again- "But if you were the wind, if you were completely free, you would call him!" And so I allow my inner child to ponder the magic of my inner Divine, the magic that unseen, flows with my willingness to trust, to face my smallness and humble myself to a voice that I can neither hear with my human ears, nor verify with my five senses.  And I do- I do call him. And his voice mail answers, and I leave the most honest message I can manage. Nothing big, really, I really had nothing to say, I was after all, cajoled by my inner spirit to call, and She gave me no words, no script or divine message to offer. I just say, "I called to say hello, to say I hope your holiday was nice... I usually wouldn't call under these circumstances, when things are apart... I usually let it go, but I decided not to, to just say hello..." I said something along those lines. And when I hung up, I said to myself- "This year will be nothing but change." Nothing came of that phone call, but it was meaningful nonetheless for it meant that I was the wind.  I was the wind that needs nothing to propel it into the possibility of an exciting brand new adventure.  And so with nothing but me standing at the edge of my fear, I will walk right into the bloody battle field of trepidation with my heart open, my arms stretched out as if to say, okay fear, give me your best shot because I'm here- I've arrived softer, yet somehow stronger, and I expect nothing but victory!"

While a beginner filmmaker wants as close to complete
control as he can achieve, it is alqays a good idea to surround yourself with
likemindeed pedople that can help you get through the difficult
task of completing a movie. 37-millimeter reasonable-sized Live view screen solar panels.
It has been said that the majority oof independent films never reach completion and a poorly thought
out pre-production period is normally the culprit.

May I simply just say what a relief to discover somebody that truly understands what
they are talking about on the web. You certainly know how to bring a problem to light and
make it important. More people ought to check this out and understand this side of your
story. It's surprising you're not more popular because you certainly possess the gift.
